We heard a lot in the presidential debate last night about our benefits. Health care, 401k, etc... The government tries to guarantee our happiness but it cannot. I love this passage because David tells about a real benefit package: "forget not His benefits."

He forgives all our sins
He heals our diseases
He redeems me when i'm down
He crowns me with love and compassion
He satisfies my desires with good
He renews my youth.

And these benefits never runs out:
"as far as the east is from the west."

Praise God for giving me his best!

I love this Psalm because it really helps me to understand God's love for me. God is so compassionate and gracious towards us, "as high as the heavens ar above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him.".
It is hard to fathom the depth of His love & get myself to feel and understand it. I Love the correlation that this passage makes between the father and his children, because as a mom I feel that have a child helps me to understand God's infathomable (word?) Love more than ever before :) Thank you God :)
